Too many ideas
It's funny when you're just starting out in entrepreneurship. You feel like you just have to find this one great idea and then refine that idea until it's perfect, then you can finally get started. But once you get started, you quickly end up in a different place than you imagined.
At the same time, as you are executing and getting traction, ideas are no longer hard to come by. Instead it is hard to find focus. As you are dealing with customers, creating content and observing other companies in your space, there's no shortage of ideas and many of them could work for your business. But the much harder thing is forcing yourself to sit down and do the things that are really making your business go forward.
That's why now whenever I meet someone just getting started with a new business idea looking for advice, I try to push them to get started as soon as possible and see what happens. There's no better feedback than getting people to actually use your product and there's no better way to get new ideas than by actually doing stuff. In fact, ideas start to hold you back more than they help you. Don't get distracted too soon, let your ideas marinate while continuing to execute and if one lingers long enough, then you know it might be worth your time.
