Big traffic
Over the last 2.5 years of building my small online business, I've never had a day where my web traffic went over 100 visitors. I've come close a few times, but that has been a ceiling that I've yet to break up to this point. That being said, I have steadily growing monthly recurring revenue from my products as well as consulting income that more than covers my expenses. With a few big product enhancements I have in the pipeline, I expect to get my product revenue alone up to a point where it will soon be covering the salary that I used to make as a CFO for a venture backed startup.
That's all to say that you don't need big traffic to build a business. The most down I ever got on myself as an entrepreneur was when a startup coach told me that my traffic was insignificant since it was around 20 visitors per day, and that 100 was the bare minimum. That might be true if you are someone who just sits on the sidelines and observes as people try to build infinitely scalable, VC-backed companies. But as someone who has more modest goals, you don't need to get that much traffic to build a sustainable, worthwhile business.
